Introduction to Feng Shui
Is it possible that your personal environment is communicating with you?
Since the beginning of time tribal people have understood the importance of connecting with nature and understanding the messages of balance and harmony Mother Earth brings us through her elements.
Look around your home, or office, for a couple of minutes and consider what they may be saying to you right now. What does your personal environment want you to know that could help bring your life into greater balance and harmony?
Feng Shui literally means Wind and Water: two life elements fundamental to our health and wellbeing which, symbolised in the Yin and Yang, illustrate the essential harmony of balance and constant movement as Life Energy (Chi) flows.
When we do your Feng Shui consultation we use a Magic Grid, or Ba Gua Map. Each sector of this nine numbered grid relates to a specific area of your home or property, a particular aspect of your life, and one of the five Earth elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood. The grid is placed over a plan of your home, room or property to show you which of your rooms correspond to which area.
